Digital library is a unique library that stores all the collection in digital format and can be accessed through the computers. This digital content is stored locally or at a place hat can be remotely accessed through the computer networks.

iCraft can assist in building a digital library with collections stored in digital format rather than in Print, Microform or Media formats. It all started in the year 1994, when Digital Library was also known as Electronic Library or Virtual Library.

Greenstone is a suite of software (Open Source and Multilingual) used by for building and distributing digital library collections. It is a tool for building Digital Libraries. It provides a new way of organizing information and publishing it on the Internet in the form of a fully-searchable, metadata-driven digital library. iCraft provides implementation and customization of digital library solution using Greenstone.
