J2EE Developer & Database Administrator (DB2) urgent

J2EE Developer

Primary Skills:

  • 5-6 years of experience in J2EE based enterprise application development.
  • Development & maintenance experience of critical business applications utilizing Java, JSP, Servlets, Struts, EJB, JDBC, JMS, Web Services, XML, JNDI, Ajax and client side scripting – Javascript.
  • Experience in MOM integration using MQSeries
  • Experience in working with SSO and LDAP. Hands on application development with enterprise databases - DB2, Oracle etc.

Secondary Skills:

  • Basic WAS Administration skills
  • Fix application production known defects or defects encountered in production
  • Troubleshoot application or application integration issues and help to resolve
  • Carry out deployments of updated applications
  • Support testing team by incorporating testing changes identified by UAT
  • Knowledge of jUnit & jWebUnit testing and ANT build environment.

Create / update relevant document based on the modifications and fixes
 

Database Administrator (DB2)

·   6-8 years of experience with SQL in general and DB2 in specific.

·   Experience working in 24x7 IT infrastructure support services team

·   Extensive knowledge in IBM DB2 backup and restore techniques.

·   Extensive knowledge in DB2 management( Installation and configuration of DB2 in clustered environment

·   Capacity management, space management, DB objects creation and maintenance, stored procedures coding, ...etc.)

·   Extensive experience in IBM Tivoli Directory Server (LDAP) administration and configuration.

·   Experience with Microsoft SQL Server

 

Preferable:

·   DB2 and LDAP certification

ITIL certification
